Because this chronicle speaks to events through December 31, 1914, this pamphlet was presumably published in 1915. A library stamp notes it was catalogued by "Oakland Free Library" in 1916.

The content is German propaganda regarding the events of December 1914, and includes speeches about the injustices and defensive needs of Germany and the heinous crimes of the British and other Allies. A date-by-date journal highlights major events for the month. Thirty-three pages are letters from German soldiers praise the support they are getting from their leaders, acknowledge the the bravery and cunning of the German soldier, and expose the wartime atrocities of their enemies.

From one of the letters: "The English, this mercenary nation, these armed clerks, who are not ashamed of setting the uncultivated blacks on us, they will bleed to death on our bayonets. You should just hear the popuation of the North of France, talking of them now, and the "estimation" with which they speak of their allies. Mr. Grey and Churchill must often feel their ears tingling. Our fellows have held out and fought splendidly..."
