Green and Gilt cloth, with bold, orange banner as part of elaborate design to front board, featuring An Irish harp and strands of clover, bordered in gilt with chaining within the gilt borders, in blind. Beveled edges. Boards only show some ripping from past water contact, but evidence within. Front hinge just starting (an inch at top and 2 inches at bottom), but holding very tight. Armorial Bookplate of William Jackson Piggott ("Hic Et Ulubris") to front pastedown. Titling to title page in black and red. Very wide margins bordering fairly narrow (3 1/4 in.) textblock.
