"Parts 1 and 2" (May, 1980): pp. ix, [1], 1 - 264. Black title to spine. Lightly thumbed bottom corners. Light blue pages.
"Part 3" (August, 1980): pp. iv, 265 - 379. Column of notes in ink to cover. Cover was placed 1/4 inch offset leaving fore-edge of cover shelf-worn. Very Good. Item #86041

"Parts 1 and 2" was submitted by Eilene Galloway (1906 – 2009), an American researcher and editor. She was often called "The Grand Dame of Space" and described as "an influential force in the development and analysis of domestic and international space law and policy". She served on NASA advisory committees, and was a founding member of the International Institute of Space Law. In 1984 Galloway was the recipient of the NASA Public Service Award and Gold Medal and in 1987 she became the first person to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from Women in Aerospace. She became a fellow of the American Astronautical Society in 1996 and in 2006 was the first woman elected an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

"Part 3" was submitted by John H. Gibbons (1929 – 2015), an American scientist, nuclear physicist, and internationally recognized expert in technologies for energy efficiency and energy resource conservation. He served as the Assistant to the President for Science and Technology and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy under President Bill Clinton from 1993-1998.
